Tailored Solutions.

Every assignment is different and so solutions must be tailored to the unique set of challenges presented by your organisation.

Targeted for Leaders.

My services are designed for executives, managers, and teams seeking sustainable growth and resilience.

Transform your organisation through a people-first approach.

My business psychology methods help your organisation to overcome challenges, build strong teams, and create lasting success.

Business psychology is the study of human behaviour in the workplace and plays a vital role in helping to optimise the people function of any organisation. It applies psychological principles to examine leadership, productivity, employee satisfaction, and organisational effectiveness. Psychology combines with practical strategies to improve:

  • Communication

  • Change management

  • Leadership,

  • Health and safety

  • Team dynamics

  • Productivity

My Approach

My approach to business psychology is as a process consultant.  That is, I assume that you are the expert in your business and so it is not my role to tell you what to do.  I am an expert at helping and so my role is to help you get the best out of the people in your business, and, at the very least, to help you understand the implications your decisions may have on the people in your organisation.

I am an experienced qualitative researcher. This is where every assignment starts - with research. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ in organisational psychology interventions.

One of, if not the best way to find out what your people are thinking, or what is troubling them is to create safe spaces and then ask them.

The reports that ensue form a rich mine of information on which leaders have acted to create meaningful change, as well as engagement with their staff.

We were impressed with Bert’s ability to fully understand the brief and the strategic pressures facing leaders in the NHS today. Furthermore, the design and delivery of the session was expertly executed with audience members reporting how interesting and valuable they found the session to be. The challenge of articulating current research and psychological theory in a style which resonates with practitioners, who may not have experienced any academic underpinning previously, was masterfully navigated.
